Doctors are not recommending to use pacifiers as it often becomes a reason for newborns to refuse breast feeding.
But often pacifier is the only way to quieten the child (and parents!).
So, what to do?
It was a big fight for us. We didn't have a pacifier initially and bought one only when our son was about 2 weeks old - we bought it because it was awful and we hoped it will help us at least a bit. When we got it we clearly understood that we should have done it from the very beginning
After all, eventually our kid has stopped using it with fairly no efforts.
I agree with nataly, the negative effects are super exaggerated. My baby has a couple of pacifiers, sometimes she wants them, sometimes she doesnt care..I give her if she asked for it, good thing about her she does not depend on it a lot. By the way, if you are looking for the best way to save on your baby's needs, here's a good site to get , I'll bet you are going to enjoy every purchase.
After checking the web-site please make sure to return back and spend just 1 minute to leave ratings and brief feedback for it - your opinion will help other parents a lot!
