I am in a serious conflict over how to handle this. My 27 month old son is a loving and thoughtful child to his 11 month old brother. The exception to this is when, throughout the day, he gently pushes his brother over from a sitting position, which causes him to fall over and bang his head. A part of the problem is that, at times, the 11 month old laughs at this. More often though he cries. I have tried placing the 27 month old in time out and other times tried to pick up the baby and hold him, giving him the attention. Today I really lost my temper and quite sternly picked him and placed him in time out. I was furious.

And thoughts?

Try the privacy pop. It's on privacy pop dot com. You can put it on the bed, and they feel like they have their own space. When they are acting out, they can go there for quiet time. Hope this helps! At nap time, you can zip it up so it's dark and feels like night time. I've found this helpful.
