The Youth Service League
For more than 50 years the Youth Service League has been providing youth programs for inner city kids ages 6-20.The program, which is comprised of an all-volunteer staff, is a New York City wide program that is comprised of several components, all having to do with providing meaningful and positive educational life skills development.

The Society is known for grassroots, hands-on programs that focus on journalism and publishing as tools to engage youth in their community and in the world around them. We call it "Literacy In Action".

The Healthy Kids Coalition (its original name) was formed in 1998 to develop statewide support for the legislative creation of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in West Virginia.
